I know they sell surplus items, but I’ve never shopped there before and I want to buy a suit at a great price, but the price just seems too good to be true.

I have purchased a few different items from them, including sheets, a lamp, video games, jewelry and so forth. Quality can be hit or miss - for example, I bought two sets of flannel sheets by the same manufacturer, one set was fine but the second set had holes in the fitted sheet after only one use. To me, that is more the fault of the manufacturer than of overstock.com, though. The flat shipping rate is a nice deal, and they sell a lot of items you won’t find other places. Just read the return policy carefully so you know the terms in case the suit doesn’t fit, but you really should be fine purchasing from them.

No, Discmans = walkman which is by sony and that only plays music cds. the lcd display panel i think is just the screen which shows the settings. the discmans dont have a screen to view a video.

I don’t think bidz.com has a control over the quality of the jewelry pieces sold in their website. individual sellers come and list their items there. so it all depends on the expertise of the sellers and their intentions. if u are looking for a good deal, these auction sites could be a good source for jewelry. But you can buy directly from the jewelry retailers who care about their reputation and willing to give u the best item for the price that you are paying.

i came across this website, http://www.ninci.com, who claims to be a manufacturer from Thailand. And as we all know.. most of the big jewelry retailers source their items from Thailand, you can check the items available in this website. You may even get a good deal. The sites look pretty neat.

Has anyone shopped with them before and is the jewelry really real? How can you buy a diamond ring for ten dollars? Just wondering/ any thoughts…

I wouldn’t recommend buying jewelry online. And a diamond ring for $10 is obviously fake. Even if you do buy jewelry online that is real you don’t want to risk losing a $1,000+ ring in the mail do you? Shipping causes too much problems. It’s best to hand pick them in at a store such as Tiffany’s.
